What is an Order?
On GoVeloox, an
order is simply a delivery request created by a customer (sender) inside the app. Each order contains key details like:
- Pickup location
- Drop-off address
- Package description (size, type, or special instructions)
- Estimated delivery fee
Once submitted, the order is sent to available riders nearby who can choose to accept it.
- How Customers Place Orders
Step 1: Create a Delivery Request
- Open the GoVeloox app and tap New Delivery.
- Enter the pickup and drop-off addresses.
- Add package details and any instructions.
Step 2: Confirm and Pay
- Review the estimated fee.
- Payment is deducted automatically from your wallet.
Step 3: Rider Assignment
- The system matches you with the nearest available rider.
- You’ll see the rider’s name, vehicle details, and rating before the trip begins.
Step 4: Track Your Order
- Follow the rider’s journey in real time on the app map.
- Receive live updates for pickup and drop-off.
Step 5: Delivery Complete
- Rider hands over the package at the destination.
- Confirm receipt in the app and rate your experience.
- How Riders Handle Deliveries
Accepting Orders
- Riders toggle Online to receive delivery requests.
- Each new order shows pickup location, distance, and fee.
- Riders choose which deliveries to accept.
Picking Up Packages
- Navigate to the pickup point using in-app maps.
- Confirm pickup with the customer, and in some cases, capture proof (delivery code).
Delivering Packages
- Follow the navigation to the drop-off address.
- Ensure proper handover to the recipient.
Completing the Order
- Mark the delivery as complete in the app.
- Earnings are instantly credited to the rider’s wallet.
- Order Tracking & Notifications
- For Customers: Real-time GPS tracking, pickup/drop-off updates, and push notifications.
- For Riders: In-app directions, customer contact details, and order status reminders.
- Order History & Records
- Both customers and riders can view past deliveries under the Orders/Deliveries section in the app.
- Each record includes:
- Date and time
- Pickup and drop-off points
- Delivery fee/earnings
- Rider or customer details
- Receipt or proof of delivery
