📖 How to Request a Rider on the GoVeloox App

Requesting a rider on the GoVeloox app is fast, simple, and gives you full control over your delivery. This guide explains how to create a delivery request, negotiate pricing, make payment, track your rider, and complete your delivery safely.

Step 1: Download the GoVeloox App and Create an Account

Download the App

  • Visit the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS)
  • Search for GoVeloox
  • Tap Download / Install

Create Your Account

  • Open the app and tap Get Started
  • Enter the required details:
    • Full Name
    • Phone Number
    • Email Address
    • Create Password
    • Confirm Password
  • Tap Create Account

Verify Your Email & Set Up Your Profile

  • A verification code will be sent to your email
  • Enter the code to verify your account
  • Set up your profile by adding:
    • Profile image
    • Username
    • Email address
    • Phone number

Step 2: Fill In Your Delivery Details

After logging in:

  • Enter your pickup location
  • Enter your drop-off location
  • Upload an image of the package (recommended for rider clarity)

Enter the following package details:

  • Receiver’s Name
  • Receiver’s Phone Number
  • Value of Item
  • Description of the item to be delivered
  • Click Done to proceed

Offer Price

  • Enter the app-recommended delivery price
  • Cross-check your delivery details and edit if needed

Once all details are confirmed, tap Find Rider to continue.

Step 3: Find and Accept a Rider

  • Nearby verified GoVeloox riders will receive your request
  • Riders may:
    • Accept your offer, or
    • Negotiate the delivery price

After negotiating, you must click to accept a rider’s offer to proceed.

Note:

  • You can fund your wallet while waiting for the rider to arrive if needed

Step 4: Rider En Route to Pickup

  • Once a rider is accepted, they begin heading to your pickup location
  • The rider may call you when they are close
  • You can:
    • Track the rider’s movement live on the in-app map
    • Chat with the rider directly in the app

This helps you stay informed and prepared before handing over your package.

Step 5: Make Payment

Before the rider picks up your package:

  • Make payment via your GoVeloox Wallet
  • Fund your wallet by transferring money to your GoVeloox Virtual Account Number

Once payment is made:

  • You will receive a Delivery PIN (OTP)
  • Do not share this OTP with the rider
  • The OTP should only be shared with the recipient

Important:

  • Payment is securely held until delivery is confirmed

Step 6: Pickup Confirmation

After payment is made:

  • The rider confirms package pickup in the app
  • The delivery route is unlocked
  • The rider proceeds to deliver your package

Step 7: Delivery & PIN Confirmation

  • The recipient receives the Delivery PIN (OTP) once payment is made
  • If the recipient does not receive the OTP, the customer can share it with them
  • The recipient provides the OTP to the rider upon delivery
  • The rider enters the OTP to confirm delivery

Once verified:

  • Delivery is marked Completed
  • Payment is released to the rider’s wallet immediately

Important Notes

  • Customers must make payment before the rider proceeds with delivery
  • Riders do not receive payment until delivery is confirmed with the OTP
  • Always confirm the rider’s name and bike plate number before handing over your package
  • You can track your delivery in real time throughout the journey
  • The PIN system ensures safe, secure, and verified delivery
