The GoVeloox Delivery PIN (also known as OTP) is a security feature designed to ensure that every delivery is completed safely and confirmed by the correct recipient. This guide explains what the Delivery PIN is, how it works, and why it is important for both customers and riders.
What Is the GoVeloox Delivery PIN?
The Delivery PIN is a unique, one-time code generated by the GoVeloox system to confirm that a package has been successfully delivered to the intended recipient.
The PIN helps to:
- Prevent delivery disputes
- Ensure packages reach the correct person
- Protect both customers and riders
- Release payment only after confirmed delivery
When Is the Delivery PIN Generated?
- The Delivery PIN is generated once payment is made for the delivery.
- Both the customer and recipient receive the PIN.
How the Delivery PIN Works
Step 1: Customer Makes Payment
- Payment is made via the GoVeloox Wallet.
- Once payment is made, the Delivery PIN is generated and sent to both the customer and recipient.
Step 2: Recipient Receives the PIN
- The recipient provides the PIN to the rider upon delivery.
- If the recipient does not receive the PIN, the customer can share the PIN with them.
Step 3: Rider Completes Delivery
- When the rider arrives at the drop-off location, the recipient provides the PIN to the rider.
- The rider enters the PIN into the GoVeloox Rider App.
Step 4: Delivery Is Confirmed
- Once the PIN is verified:
- The delivery is marked as Completed
- Payment is released to the riderβs wallet
- The order is officially closed
Important Rules About the Delivery PIN
- Customers must not share the PIN with the rider before delivery.
- The PIN should only be given after the package has been received.
- GoVeloox Customer Support will never ask for your Delivery PIN.
